1. We check your Will is filled in correctly
Before you sign, send us your Will and anything that shows how your details should be written, such as a driver licence, passport, Medicare card, birth or marriage certificate, or a recent bill. We check your full legal name, date of birth and address are written exactly as they appear on those documents, and that everyone you name is identified by their full name. A small spelling difference can cause delays for your executor later.
2. You sign with your own witnesses
Print your Will and sign it with two adult witnesses who are not beneficiaries, following our step-by-step guide for your state.
3. We check the signed copy
Send us a scan or clear photos of every signed page. We check every page is signed and dated, both witnesses have signed and given their details, and neither witness is a beneficiary or a beneficiary's partner.
4. We store it securely
We keep a secure digital copy of your checked Will and send you a storage certificate. When the time comes, your executor can ask us for a copy.
