Why this matters to me

I'm Chris Wong, a CPA based in Sydney, and I serve on the board of directors of Indochinese Aged Care. Through that work, and over many years as an accountant, I've seen again and again what happens when someone doesn't have a proper Will.

I've seen a serious diagnosis arrive without warning, and a Will that had been put off for years suddenly need to be done in days. I've seen Wills that weren't clear end up being contested.

So much of that is preventable. A clear Will, signed properly and made in time, spares a family from most of it.

I want everyone to be Will protected, especially the people who need it most: older Australians who love their families and want their wishes respected, but may not realise how much a Will matters, or how quickly the chance to make one can pass.
